First time Uber user
I'm going out of town and want to use Uber. I downloaded the app and it is asking me if I want to use paypal or give my credit card info. Is it safe to give credit card info?

Uber is the best! No worries about using credit card, they charge through the app so the drivers don't see your info - plus you don't need to tip!. The "worst" experience we ever had was a car that was a little dirty, but most are immaculate. We have used them several times all over the US.

I've used Uber many times and never had an issue with credit card information. I mean, I am sure entering your credit card information always carries some nominal risk. To me, it is safer than getting into a cab with a ton of cash.

Is there a receipt emailed to you? I have to travel for business at the end of the month and I need to expense it.
