7th grade math help!

If angle A = 78 what is the measure of a complement of a complement of angle A?

complementary means the angles add up to 90 degrees. If angle A is 78, then the measure of angle A's complement would be 12 degrees because 90-78= 12

A complement of angle a is 12 degrees as explained above. The complement of 12 degrees would take you back to 78 again.

As a former math teacher I wouldn't think it was a typo. I think they just want her to make the connection that if you take the complement of the complement you alwaysg et back to what you started with.

The complement of 30 is 60. The complement of 60 is 30. Same for 78. The complement of 12 is back to 78.
