Paper clutter in the kitchen

What do you use to control the paper clutter in the kitchen? As a family with two kids in school I feel like I am drowning in paperwork. I need help. Edit I clearly need help, as I am the top related post from 2014 too.

Like flyers for things to remember ? I take a screenshot of it with my phone and toss out the paper.

I have the school calendar clipped on the inside of my cabinet door and i either clip withe the calendar or put in the folds

and then throw out as soon as date past

I write everything down on my kitchen calendar as soon as I get it and throw out the papers/invitations. Any important papers I need to keep, I clip behind the calendar.

I have this with folders. One folder for each kid.

Every single night I go through, throw out what I don't need. Then I have a calendar on the fridge, I write down any important dates on fridge from flyers home (i.e. milk carton cut in half due). Anything I still need goes in the folder.

Then I have one more folder which I have that is art or work I want to save, I put it in there until I get around to archiving it.

Then I have the two shelves under, one I use for school supplies for HW. I have a box top in it with glue stick, pencils, erasers, scissors and a ruler.
