The other zoo incident...
I'm surprised no one mentioned this.
In Chile the other day, a suicidal man jumped into a lion enclosure. The zoo shot and killed two lions to save him.
I have all sorts of mixed feelings on the Cincinnati incident - it's just a tragedy all around.
But this story really angers me.
Bottom line is that I think I hate zoos.

I heard this on the radio the other day. This definitely makes me angry. At the same time how crazy do you have to be to come up with that as a suicide plan? Yikes.

I hate zoos too. The Central Park zoo is sooooo cute minus the animals. So many educational opportunities without destroying the animals lives. I feel so bad for be polar bears and bears and all primates especially.

The other zoo incident...
Both situations are just horrible but especially the suicidal man. Those poor animals are dead because of a conscious and selfish decision that he made. I do not and will never support zoos. I think they should be closed.

He deserved to be shot! Those poor tigers attached because someone came into their habitat and antagonized them. That made me so angry. Don't kill the aminal in this case
