Vineyard bike tour?
Has anyone ever done one of those bike tours of the vineyards out east?
Just wondering if they were worth it.
I am debating if I want to get on a bike after drinking.

I've seen it but definitely couldn't do it. That would be a sight for sure.

Re: Vineyard bike tour?
My DH and I did it with my best friend and her DH a few years ago.
The tour guides were great. Young and funny. Overall we had a blast. We did watch our drinking.
There was a woman who was drunk and fell twice trying to leave the last vineyard. Lucky for her she fell on the lawn. She took the van back.
There is a van that follows you to each location just in case.
I would do it again. We had a blast!

You couldn't pay me enough money to do that.

Vineyard bike tour?
no, but a horse back riding tour :)
I just saw something on TV 12 where a group of 8 or less can take a BREW CREW bike tour.
they use a special bike where up to 8 people peddle at once and you go from brewery to brewery, sampling as you go

Re: Vineyard bike tour?
My DH and I did our own bike tour of a vineyard area, but not out east. It was the first time each of us had been on a bike in YEARS. We did two days of this. OMG, the pain we were in the next day...
Also my DH got a little TOO confident. I kept saying, "hey wait for me and slow down." Then he flipped over. I laughed, lol. He was OK.
The only problem we did face was the bike got really heavy after all the wine we bought.
Obviously, you also have to watch how much you drink. I watch this in particular because I did break my shoulder trying to get on the bike after too many one time.
You just have to pace yourself, but it's a lot of fun!

OMG this sounds like it would be SO much worse than just one bike!
To the OP I'd have absolutely no interest in a bike tour. I prefer to keep my cardio and my drinking separate.
