Town of islip
I'm new to islip (islip terrace) and I'm a new mom. I want to explore all the parks and beaches this summer. Do I need an islip parks pass or is it not worth it?

You would need to get a recreation card to get into most places. My DH gets his at Brookwood Hall. I want to say it is good for 2 years? (it's been a while since I had my own) The first time I had to show my license and I think my vehicle registration to prove that I was an islip resident. I think the card might be about $30.00.

We just got out card last week. It's $30 for the first family member and $15 for each additional family member over a certain age. You need to bring your license and a bill with your address on it. It's good for 2 years. It gets you into the town beaches and parks and will get you discounted rates at the town pools and spray parks. We went to Brookwood Hall in East Islip. You don't all have to be together to get a pass for everyone, but the people that aren't there will need to return to get their pictures taken for their card.

its good for beaches and any town programs or camps.
you will love how easy the beaches are esp with a baby!!

Islip Beach, but DS likes the East Islip Marina playground too.
