Ice cream bar toppings
What should I have for toppings on an ice cream bar?
Also where can I get sprinkles in bulk? I didn't see any at bjs?

Re: Ice cream bar toppings
I just went to an awesome wedding where they had a great ice cream bar and some of the toppings included:
-sprinkles (all different kinds, chocolate, colored, nonpareils, etc.)
-chocolate chips
-m&m's
-gummy bears!!
-marshmallow fluff
-chocolate syrup/hot fudge
-nuts (again all different kinds)
-reeses pieces
at cold stone I love to add things like:
-raspberries
-blueberries
-brownie pieces
-cookie pieces
GOSH IM DROOLING JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!!!

Re: Ice cream bar toppings
Ask them at BJs because I could swear I have seen them there.
I'd be careful with nuts because of allergies. someone uses the sprinkle spoon for nuts and puts it back in the sprinkles - for someone with a nut allergy , that can be fatal. So be careful with that.
Sprinkles - color is fine. I don't see a need for diff kinds. Let's face it, they all taste the same. Color is more fun
Redi whip
Crushed Oreos
Cherries
Choc syrup/fudge & caramel sauce
I think you're good with that. The basics are delicious!
If nut allergy won't be a prob, add some chopped peanuts, almonds, etc to that list

Re: Ice cream bar toppings
reduced balsamic is thick and sweet, it adds favor even when drizzled on water melon, grilled pineapple etc.

Ice cream bar toppings
I like the suggestions above, but wanted to add chocolate crunches (like Carvel) if you can track them down. I know a local ice cream place by me sells just the crunchies to bring home, so they might have it in stores too!
