Christening favors?
What to give? Not sure I want to do something edible because we're having cake and a plated dessert trio and I feel like if people don't eat the favor right away it gets tossed.
Was thinking maybe a donation? Do people do donations for christenings?

Re: Christening favors?
I have done edible favors for each one of my kids christenings and you would be surprised, the favors were a hit! If you are interested I can give you the info of the woman who made my DD's christening cake pops, they came out really cute.
I think a donation is nice idea too.

Christening favors?
Nothing or something edible. Otherwise in my house they end up in the trash within a few days.

Re: Christening favors?
I would never trash an edible favor! Even if I was full from the party I'd take it home and eat it later or the next day!

i love those chocolate covered pretzel rod favors in the cellophane bags... If you did those. They last awhile and don't need to be eaten right away.

this unless it happens to be something actually useful.
I think my friend is doing a plant per family. while I wont throw this out right away I am sure I will kill it quite quickly I am not good with keeping plants alive

We just had my nephew's confirmation party and we had chocolate covered pretzels (the chocolate was in the shape of a cross) and they were a HUGE hit!!!

Ditto - and an edible favor that I don't eat right away gets eaten that night or the next day while I'm relaxing and watching tv.
