And half the time they filter it or use some beauty app on it until it is COMPLETELY obvious that is not even CLOSE to what they really look like and it's almost laughable.

Pet peeve thread
Most of my pet peeves lately are all social media related. In no particular order:
"Game": eyebrow game on point. They post some deep quote followed by "#personalgrowthgame". #brunchgame Get over yourself.
Anti-vaxxers: ranting and raving, posting from various "news" sites. Go away.
Beach body "coaches": we get it. You drink a shake and then work out in your living room, then you post a photo of your sweaty face, drinking a shake. I work out too, no need for a selfie and my bottle of water, is there? Then it's followed by a variety of hashtags: #momboss #mompreneur. Sorry but it's laughable
Sanctimoms: you know them. "Breast is best, how dare you formula feed? #onlyorganicinmyhouse . "We never let our child near a tv"
Vocal fry: why do you talk like a valley girl? This girl at work sits next to me and speaks like this. She's 46.
When people add a plural: Nordstrom's . Old navy's.

my excuse is that every time I try to exercise I aggravate my back to the point I can't walk the next day. Like straight up, legitimately can't stand up straight. For 2 days straight.

people who get onto the elevator before letting you off, people who cut you off only to go slow, people that drive slow in the left lane, people who block an intersection in traffic so you can't go through (happens to me ALL the time, like this morning, since I work near a RR crossing so these idiots pull up into the intersection while waiting for the train to roll by), people who walk through a door that you are holding open for someone else, or only walking through one door when there are two... people who clog up my newsfeed with stuff they sell on facebook.... i have people on my facebook who always constantly plug their weight loss products and shakes/exercise programs/mascara/clothing line, etc. (and yes there is a beachbody coach that always uses the hashtag #noexcuses) Oh and the people who constantly fish for attention via their FB statuses whether it is whining or posting some vague quote, or bragging.
I am sure there is more but that is what I can think of right now..

Pet peeve thread
My biggest pet peeve is the car who is so quick to go in front of me when I'm driving straight but once they make the turn and drive in front of me drives sooo slow. I absolutely hate this!!!

Beachbody coaches...Trying to change my life.. i like my life, I don't want to change my life.
People that dirty look my toddlers when they are being kids...This happens all the time, mainly when they are trying to be cute. I know everyone has a bad day, but sometimes its just plain rude.
People that don't hold the door for you. They actually pretend they didn't even see you, even though you made eye contact.
People that don't let you on our ridiculous "take off ramps" on the southern/northern state. Its not that hard to either speed up or move over so I can get on the parkway.
Throwback Thursdays/Flashback Fridays. I love seeing the old posts, can't stand when its reminding me I will NEVER be 25 again and at a club, drinking and not having a care in the world.

Everything Facebook is a huge pet peeve of mine. That's why I stopped going on. I really couldn't care less what people do every second of their day. Get a life.
What my peeve is today ...when people who you clearly don't like (and they know it too), just don't get that you don't give a shit that they have neck pain, so they should stop doing that gesture with their hand pressed to their neck, while wincing in pain. All in a pathetic attempt for you to talk to them. I don't give a shit.

YES, YES!!! agree. the worst shoppers are at the Shoprite in Planview. Such a bunch of lazy people over there.

Not only do the carts hit cars, they take up parking spaces.
I loath the idea of having to shop tomorrow for this reason.
Johns farm never has this problem, why? because it cost .25 for a cart.
other stores need to start charging, lol
No one ever puts the carts away here  the workers always take my cart when I'm done moving my bags. They are quick

I guess today my pet peeve is students who talk during class (in non discussion classes) In the US, it's seen as really rude and here it's considered OK at certain times. It drives me nuts.

My pet peeves are anything my IL's do.
No really, they are mostly driving related. How hard is it for people to use their f'in signal? When people are in the turning lane wanting to make a left turn for example and they veer slightly to the right before turning, back into the regular lanes causing the person driving straight to slam on the brakes. Those who are in the turning lane but for some reason can't fit their entire care in their own lane. Texters while driving. People who cannot park within their own spot. I hate them all!

I'm not talking on something truly buisness related.
But whenver we have a new hire, we send out an email to the whole office introducing and welcoming them.
Without fail, 50 people reply ALL to say- welcome aboard! Congrats! Looking forward to working with you!
It got to the point where my boss sent one out today and he wrote specifically in BOLD LETTERS-
Please reach out to Dave DIRECTLY to welcome him aboard.
(as in, don't reply ALL, just reply to Dave!)
He really stressed it because it's getting really bad how often it happens.
Sure enough, we got about 10 reply alls so far welcoming him aboard.
People just can't help themselves!
