How do you coupon and make it worthwhile if you mainly shop the outer aisles and don't use a lot of cleaning products?

Re: Couponing
Shoprite is the best for using coupons bc they are cheaper and they double. It's a little harder to use coupons on outer aisles but not impossible. There are usually coupons for yogurt. I got a bunch of activia free last month. Oikos is on sale this wk and there is a coupon for it. I usually buy organic milk but cvs sometimes has a sale where you get $1 extra care back. It's just not organic. There is or was a coupon on coupons.com for 1.50 2 Jennie ground turkey. It came out to about .75 each. What are some things you're looking for?

The shop rites in Uniondale, Bethpage and new Hyde park(opening this week) doubles. I know the one in College Point does not, so check with your store. I think stop n shop doubles too.

Shoprite and Stop & Shop double up to 99c. King Kullen doubles up to $1, but only 4 $1 coupons in one transaction.
Shoprite's prices are definitely better than KK though.

I know, I would love to shop at KK because it's a long island based company and not from OOS, but the prices are higher. I don't know why. I prefer to give my money to local businesses.

I follow livingrichwithcoupons.com. They take the guesswork out for you. Also, I have several apps that give money back on certain items, including milk, fruits, and vegetables. It's not a lot, but it adds up. I use SavingStar, Mobisave, Checkout 51, and Ibotta.

I too only shop the perimeter of the store and find it difficult to find any coupons for the things we buy (fruits, veggies, meats, etc). It seems to me like most coupons are for health and beauty, cleaning, and processed foods.

Shoprite has store coupons in the circular and often include some meat and produce. Also you can link your store card to a savingstar account. They do their own coupons and have a healthy offer of the week which is usually twenty percent off a specific fruit or vegetable. Shoprite also has digital coupons you can add to your card.

THIS!
i only go to KK for free stuff
shoprite you have to be very careful because they are a franchise and each franchisee can set certain rules but there are some general rules all must follow. be ready to put up a fight.
Stop and shop is good but even better if you use the gas points (i dont, im a hess/speedway junkie)
i like to shop CVS too for a lot of stuff

I have noticed with shoprite, the receipt for the purchases almost always has some kind of a coupon for fruits, usually bananas, at least for me.
