Trump campaign manager arrested for battery
Do I think this incident is overblown? Absolutely, by both sides. However, under the law, "battery" is forceful touching and if he grabbed her arm and pulled her away from Trump, it could be a battery. That's for law enforcement to decide. Trump and Lewindowski should not have lied about it, but people don't seem to be bothered by this behavior.

Am I missing something? I just googled the video and I am surprised that someone would be arrested for battery for what he did. I've been pushed worse on the NYC subway during rush hour.

I totally agree, this was blown way out of proportion just because it was Trump. If a male reporter was approaching Clinton in the same way and a member of Clinton's team pushed him out of the way, nobody would even notice.

I used work in media many moons ago, and I tell ya, security/police/bodyguard ain't got nothin' on a reporter trying to get the scoop.. they will squirm in anywhere, and do whatever it takes, and if they face resistance, its all the more sensational. I don't see how this reporter has harmed, she should not have been there, and she broke one of the cardinal rules of making physical contact to get attention with the person she was trying to interview.. that is a no-no at least that is what I was told. But I do think it was blown out of proportion by both sides...media loves Trump and with all the "violence" around him, they want to hype up that side as much as possible.

I despise the man, but I do not blindly trust the media. I enjoy actual facts. Lewandowski claimed to not know the woman and to never have touched her. He LIED. And Trump is continuing to lie for him. His tweets about the matter yesterday were absurd and childish. Not something a presidential candidate should be doing. Call Hillary a criminal all you want, but she has more class than this man has in his tiny pinky finger.

I'm not his fan at ALL!
However....
How many congressmen/women are currently sitting are guilty of crimes. Of varying degrees of severity. Convicted no less. So this campaign manager is arrested. Seems like this is more of a media feeding frenzy than anything else.
How is it ok to target this candidate's campaign manager, the past of another candidate and his brush with the law but heaven help you discuss an ongoing investigation on the third.
They're all dirty. Nothing new.

He contradicted himself so many times it was laughable.

That's a problem I have with all politicians and why I can't seriously watch the debates. None of the candidates ever fully answer the question presented to them and instead they segue into discussing their prepared answer.
Maybe he is becoming more politician-like. LOL.

I saw that clip. 
I also read that he'll appoint Supreme Court Justices who will investigate Hillary. I guess he was absent that day in fifth grade when the teacher went over the purpose and function of the Supreme Court.

I read stuff like this and cannot FATHOM how anyone supports him for President. He doesn't have the slightest grasp on basic government functions, international relations, domestic issues, or a bit of human decency. He has no plans, AT ALL, he cannot answer a single question bc he has NO IDEA what he is being asked. Not being able to answer a question bc you literally don't understand it is very different than dodging a question to suit your campaign. There is not one single thing that makes this man fit to be President. Like how does one read this (or watched the original) and goes "ahh,yes, now there is a man fit to run this country."

Well, stoning women does work in some parts of the world...
As to the whole controversy of this event, I can't see it well in the video. That being said, I'm not going to ignore this woman's claim.
