Need Excel help

If I have a list of numbers, and I need to find out what percentage of them are above and below a particular value, how do I program/set Excel to figure that out for me? (For example, 15 numbers ranging from 1.12 to 3.69, and I want to know how many are 2.0 to 3.0). Or is it just easier to do it by hand?

You need a COUNTIFS statement.

Let's say your data is in cells a1 - a7

=COUNTIFS(A1:A7,">2",A1:A7,"<3")

It's basically range, criteria, range, criteria.

That will return the number of cells in that range that meet both criteria.
