Need prayers!- update!
My sweet little Dachshund that we adopted in December- around 5 years old had a horrible seizure this morning and then two subsequent ones at the vet. This has never happened before and I am so besides myself. Her blood work looks good however an X-Ray showed slight liver enlargement. I was told it could be either a manageable disease or a liver tumor and if so nothing could be done. She's had the worse life  abused for years in a puppy mill- bred continuously, had a broken jaw, blood clots in the ears, whipworm you name it this poor baby has suffered through. It kills me to know she's going through this and I can't n see my little love suffer like this. Please please pray for my little one that she's ok and it's something minor
Finally at 7pm she had an ultra sound completed a 12 hrs later- NO MASS IN THE LIVER!!! I have never been so happy. They believe she was seizing due to a medication- sentinel that she began yesterday (preventative for heart worm and whip worm) needless to say she's home and acting like herself! I have never been so relieved! We were at animal emergency in Selden they are awesome and were so good to her! Thank god we have pet insurance the bill was astronomical- we would have paid either way of coarse but thank god!
Thank you to everyone for your prayers and positive vibes! They really reached out little one and she is doing awesome! She's still following up with her vet tomorrow and my mom will be watching her the rest of the week just started in case but I think she will be ok!

Thank you all so much for the thoughts and prayers. No updates yet. Waiting for an ultrasound tech to come look at her. I'll update once I have an update

My dog started having seizures last year. He is 11. We are not sure why he's having them but medication has made a big difference. He went from having multiple seizures a week to only a few breakthrough here and there. Now if he does have one it is also shorter in time. All less than a minute. It's hard and I'm sorry that you guys are going through this. Hope you can get them under control.

I'm so sorry. My brother has a dachshund puppy that is also having seizures. He just started medication and is doing somewhat better. Hopefully, your little pup will be better soon. My beagle has had seizures as well, but only about four to five a year, so no meds yet.
