lol i blurted it out
i want to say that operation hide the engagement ring has some to an end.
today, the older salesman (who i had said earlier... can't keep a secret) was laughing and in the middle of the office (while it was full of all the techs) said that if i want a piece of SO's financial action, i need to do what the office manager did and get my ass engaged.
she turned 20 shades of red and purple.
i laughed really loud.
then i said that getting engaged like Office Manager and Owner won't change my finances because SO hands his paycheck over to me, already.
i thought she was going to die!!
i've had a rough day, this made the week end on a funny note.
now... i wonder if she'll ever acknowledge that i clearly knew she was engaged all along or if she'll continue this facade.

I think it's strange that she hides it but to be honest this whole situation you just described in the op is really rude and awkward. Makes me think there is more to the story.
