That one person
Do you have a person whose mere presence is like nails on a blackboard? That you dislike with every fiber of your being?
Ugh, I have a coworker like this. Everything that spews out of his mouth is loud, obnoxious, opinionated, and sexist. If you say it's raining outside, he will argue until you walk away ready to blow. The way he talks to his wife on the phone is disgusting, and most of the time he gets so frustrated with her, he hangs up on her.
Even the way he chews in annoying. I'm not a hateful person. I get along with everyone in the office, but he just rubs me the wrong way.

How funny, I just read this and my "one person" just came up and asked me a question that I answered for him 2 days ago... Hes much older and has a hard time accepting my answers and responses. Hes condescending and pig headed and I cant stand it!! I literally can get along with anyone, this guy.... just no.

Yes at my last job there were two. Both younger who seemed like they needed to be better than everyone. They constantly made obnoxious comments to put people down.

Re: That one person
There are definitely a few people in my life - not by choice - that are like that.
I get a bit of joy out of blatantly ignoring them. Nothing can kill that type of person more than acting like they do not exist.

Re: That one person
Yep. And I pretty much like everyone. This person, I just can't like. And they know how much I dislike them (I make it pretty obvious) and they try extra hard to crack jokes, ask me about my family, etc. And I just can't...

Yes, I have that one person. That one person that if a piano fell on his head tomorrow I would secretly do a happy dance. Eh, who am I kidding............ It wouldn't be a secret, I'd celebrate out loud!

Yes. My good friend's best friend. We used to be friends but she turned out to be a huge liar. I stomach her when I'm forced to for big parties but my girlfriend knows I hate her but I'm always civil even though I see her and want to run her over with my car. My Dh hates her and her Dh too.
She's a worthless human being. Ugh. I hate her.

Re: That one person
yes... If my co worker and I are talking... This person will throw their 2 cents in and we didn't ask for change. They just interrupt with out asking for their opinion.
I have tried to be nice but it only made it worse.
I try and make little eye contact with this person.

Yes - a friend of a friend who constantly talks about how much she hates kids and feels bad for everyone who has kids. This was going on at a bachelorette party I attended at my tenant's house with my 6 month old. I couldn't go to the party because DH went to the bachelor party and we didn't have a babysitter, but I went to the before part and had a drink or two for the hour before they went out. Every time DS went near her, she would act like, get that thing away from me. She went on and on (and still does) about how animals are so much better than kids.
She's CF (obviously). I have a lot of friends who are CF also and never act like this. I support it - if you want kids, I support you. If you don't want kids, I support you. But please don't passive-aggressively put down my choices. I don't know how her husband puts up with her considering he has 2 kids from a previous marriage.
Just thinking about this b!tch makes my blood boil...
