Has anyone heard about this movement? I work with a student, and she chose to research this for an assignment.
I was surprised that I had never heard anything about this before.

Many see the treatment of Palestinians in Israel as modern apartheid. I think this view is much more common in Europe than in the US. I have family members in Ireland who feel very passionately about this, and I think it is because they see Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza similar to the English in Ireland in the not-so-distant-past.
