I think they will likely close in suffolk at least. 8 inches is a lot of snow especially with 40-50 mile hour winds.
My dd is wearing her pjs backwards since her Kindergarten teacher told them thats how you get a snowday. She is hoping everyone in her class remembered to wear their pjs backwards too

My kids are still up running around because I am resigned to the fact that there will be no school tomorrow- we live out east - DH thinks they will be off until thursday!!!!!!!

The signs on the parkway say winter storm warning starting at 3AM Monday until 6PM Monday. Don't know if that helps.

I just want a delay! I'm a teacher and we already lost the Friday of MDW...I don't want to start losing spring break too! Plus, I have an afternoon full of CSEs tomorrow.

Yep, closed. Again.
Without any snow on the ground at that point.
3 snow days already. One more and then we start cutting into spring breaks.
Wonderful.
The one that killed me was the Monday after we had the big storm on Saturday. The roads were clear. The bus stops weren't any better on Tuesday. But they closed Monday. That to me was a waste of a day. Because the roads and bus stops were EXACTLY the same on Tues when they had to go in.
