Selling gold jewelry?
Looking to sell some old gold jewelry. Where in Nassau is a good, reliable place? Anyone know what the current rates are? Thanks.

Selling gold jewelry?
Most jewelry stores will buy it. They give you the rate of gold that day. Google it before you go and you'll know if they are offering you the correct amount. Keep in mind, you have to look for the rate of 14k gold, or 18 K gold, whatever you have. When you see the price of gold listed that is for pure gold.

Just looked it up, today a gram of 14k is $21.64. Prices fluctuate by the day.

Weigh your gold before you get there. They will make you an offer to buy the gold that is usually 40% (or so) of its value at that price. Try to negotiate higher, as close to 65 % as possible

I went to a place called "the Gold Standard". They were nice, tested everything in front of me, and negotiated with me (I weighed all of my stuff at home first, did the matha nd had a$$ amt in my head before I went)
