Re: Remote Start
I just bought one for my mom for xmas. I paid $180 at PC Richards. it also cost an extra $100 to get it installed because you had to buy some kit. all places have this for almost every car.

Remote Start
Audio planet I think. Best thing ever!!! Just remember to set the heater up when you leave the car the day before and listen to hear if the starter worked. My car doesn't start right away on really cold days so I have to listen and try again if it's too cold. But it's such a treat to get into a warm car.

Remote Start
Do not go to Jazz Audio. I got one 2 years ago, exactly. I used it for 1 and a half winters. It stopped working, so I took it in in November. They told me sometimes you just get a bad one. There was nothing they can do for me. He said he would give me a great deal of $200 for my trouble, exactly what I paid 2 years ago, some deal. They did not care at all.

really that is a good price. is your moms car a newer one. I only ask cause I called a ton of places and every where I called the cheapest I found for the starter was $149 but my moms car required a special kit because of the chip in her key so every place charged an extra $100 on top of the price for the starter

She has a 2013 Kia Sportage. It's not a push button ignition. And the remote start is a one button device on her key chain, it's not built in to her key. The device can lock, unlock and remote start the car. In the showroom they had 3 different models. Hers was the base level option.
