Hmm the kids haven't asked.
I'm glad!
I've been painting my kitchen (taking a break)
I'm not in the mood because I know they will go out for 5 minutes and then whine. They are whiners. Not up for that today ! :)
Plus I think it's still really windy where I am.

My kids were out at 9am for about an hour. They're watching Star Wars episode 4 and then said they are headed back out.

Anyone go out to play today?
Waiting for tomor, but thanks to the idea of a very amazing person (mrsvan!) I brought some snow in using a big Tupperware and made mini snowmen

We came in just about 30 minutes ago. Went sledding in the local park and good times were had by all! My kids love playing in the snow!

Anyone go out to play today?
My kids were out for a couple of hours, they LOVE the snow! we have snow molds to make snow bricks, etc., they love that. Now I have a rubbermaid tote of snow in my kitchen LOL

Yes, we were out for a out an hour around noon. Dd loved it and keeps asking if we can go back out.

Nope. And no plans to. Cold and wet is not fun.
Dd has always hated it too. We don't even own anything she could go out in.
No snow boots or snow pants so she'd be drenched in 2 seconds in her clothes. We also don't have snow gloves just wool ones.
Now swimwear and sand toys, yeah that I am ALL over.

Anyone go out to play today?
I took my 3yo did out for about an hour...she didn't want to come back inside! My 18mo wanted nothing to do with the snow. Will try again tomorrow

No. We will tomorrow. DD pitched a fit but it was just too windy and almost whiteout conditions most of the day. We are way south and the wind is still wicked.

My son has a runny nose. It's red from wiping. Would you let him go and play tomorrow or keep him in? I'm thinking keep him in but he's been crying to go out. Idk if I should let him out for a little bit.

took my 18 month old and 6 1/2 year old outside for a little bit. they loved it. they were also bundled up like the kid from A Christmas story "ralphie, I can't put my arms down!" lol
Tomorrow we will go sledding in the afternoon.

Go out tomorrow? It'd depend how he feels tomorrow. If it's a minor thing, I'd make sure to dress him very warm and I wouldn't let him play outside for long periods of time.

So we stayed in yesterday with the promise that we would all go out today in the snow. Well the second my dd woke up at 715 she asked can we go out now? Ughhh mommy needs coffee, breakfast and for the clock to say 10 am first.
