Anyone attempted starting to dig out to get a head start or just waiting?
I haven't gone out yet. Tempted to get some snow off.

DH is out shoveling. he's quitting smoking and said he needs to keep busy to keep his mind off. He did the drive way, back steps, our walkway and side walk way.

We've shoveled the drive way twice so far. We have about 18 inches so far. Both cars are snugly in the garage.

I'm hoping the wind keeps up and just blows everything off my driveway and walkway. My cars are actually totally clear because of the winds lol.

No, hubby will do it tomorrow. We need as much snow as possible to play with it lol!!!! My neighbor across the street did it already though.

The winds are horrible and it is still snowing furiously.
Will wait to do the cars tomorrow.
I did clear the stoop because I could barely open the storm door. Will do it again later.

We went out this morning to start shoveling when we realize we were having a hard time opening our door bc of how much snow. We are doing it in sections.

DH went out earier and is out again now. Just trying to keep up so its not as much to do tomorrow. He hasn't touched the cars yet but is going to start that now.

I have a plow on my truck and a circular driveway, so I don't mind the snow too much. I make some loops once today, just to get the bulk of the snow off the driveway. I'll do a more thorough plowing tomorrow after it's done snowing.

My dh works nights so we had to clear our driveway this morning so he could park his car so while we were out there we also shoveled the steps. It doesn't even look like we did anything now that I'm looking outside. I have no clue how he's going to get to work tonight but I guess we'll attempt to clear more in a little bit.

I did a little bit earlier.
It's just me because DH just had knee surgery. I didn't want to face it all tomorrow.
I'm glad I made a dent in it - literally.
It was actually nice to get out there for a bit. It was so still and quiet.
I have earned the chocolate chip cookies I just baked!

We dig out in stages. We have a snowblower so it's not bad. We do ours and the neighbors. If we waited til the end it would be horrible.
