If your business makes donations...
I never come on here and ask favors, but....
If your business makes donations, perhaps they could consider donors choose. This is a donation site that teachers create for their classes. My students come from low ses families, and most of the time their parents aren't home. I'm trying to get more novels in my classroom that they would be interested in reading. This is in hopes to create avid readers and help to improve their test scores.
I wish I could purchase every novel, but the funds are tapped out...
So... if your business/boss is all about making charitable donations. ... pm for more information
Thank you

Re: If your business makes donations...
Maybe make a list of Novels on here that your looking for in your classroom? Maybe we have what your looking for. I would donate anything I have that we don't read anymore.
I have 2 here that I can donate. They are used books. Not sure what grade level you teach but I have these 2 listed below.
Killing Mr. Griffin by Lois Duncan
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
If your interested in these 2 please send me a FM with your address and I will mail them to you.

If your business makes donations...
Ask your PTA. If they do book fairs, which most do, they get scholastic dollars and can buy whatever books you need for free.

Thank you. They disperse those dollars to all grades from pre-k to 8.
