Fashion Nail & Spa Deer Park Avenue North Babylon
I received class 2 chemical burns which required a doctor visit and burn ointment with bandages on the back of both of my ankles. I'm in a lot of pain.
Caution!!! Do your research on reviews of this place before going for a pedicure, manicure, etc.
Most of his reviews are bad.
Including mine! The owner is horrible and shows no respect for his customers. Please spread the word!
Save yourselves the possible damage and aggravation!
Edited to add: my review with pictures on what they did to me is on Yelp. Warning... The day 4 picture is kind of gross.

Feel better.
Use Aquaphor once you stop the burn ointment. That's what the plastic surgeon told me to do when I burned my hand badly. Healed beautifully.

Callous removal gel. Which is ONLY to be applied to the bottom of the feet. It's very strong and not to be left on long.
They used Saran Wrap to wrap my heels in, thus the gel seeped up the back of my ankles and burnt me.
The tech wanted to apply hot paraffin wax to my heels after the burns occurred! It was nuts!

I have stopped going to these nail "salons".
I feel like they are all dirty, rampant with fungus and let's be honest, the people doing nails there really dont' know what they are doing.
i feel like they all need to be investigated by the board of health.
Things i have seen at these places have made my skin crawl.
I do my nails and toes at home and if I really need a mani- I will only go to a real salon or spa.
These $20 mani/pedi places are just all gross

Thank you. The dermatologist said I will most likely have scars. It's the back of my ankles, but still! It's my body! My skin.
