Lots of police presence on southern state
Going west, between Robert Moses and 231? Anyone know why? My dad said it looked like at least 50 scpd, looking in the brush for something
Anyone have any info?

There are two big things going on right in that area that it could be:
One was a tractor trailer crash where a car was pinned underneath. That is being investigated as there was serious injuries.
And then a mail truck hit a bicyclist right in that area.

One was a tractor trailer crash where a car was pinned underneath. That is being investigated as there was serious injuries.
And then a mail truck hit a bicyclist right in that area.
A tractor trailer on the Southern State? Are they even allowed on there?

A tractor trailer on the Southern State? Are they even allowed on there?
It actually took place JUST east by fifth avenue but evidently the car involved came from that direction so looking in that vicinity is part of the ongoing investigation.
ETA - think alcohol and/or drugs involved
