4-5 hours on days I need to be in the classroom (3 nights). 8-9 hours on days I work from home or have no set schedule (4 nights).

How many hours do you sleep per night?
Ug I miss my sleep. Before dd I would get 10-11 hours a night. Now, I'm lucky if I get 8-9, and I usually have to get up for 10-15 minutes during that to put her back to bed.

How many hours do you sleep per night?
I get 7.5-8.5 hours of sleep. I need my sleep. Since having DS, I go to bed around 9 and I am up at 5:30. He usually wakes up at least once in the middle of the night. He's 20 months old, ugh!

Sometimes less if DHs snoring it out of control bc it's a broken sleep
I need a lot of sleep to function

Not enough!!! Usually 6. I need more though. Sometimes I was sleeping through the night but with the heat DH snores like an elephant and now with the dog sleeping literally on top of me all night I'm up and down a lot- exhausted

average about 4. I am 38w pregnant and a have an almost 3 year old that is in her own room for the first time, who is scared of the dark.... needless to say, im up A LOT... Most of the time its hard for me to fall back to sleep.

All the same here. Except I never sleep through the night with DHs snoring. Every single night I get up in the middle of the night to go into our spare room (and the dog come with me) so it might really be more like 5 1/2

I sleep 9-10 hours on the weekends and 8 during the week. I am actively trying to cut back to 7 during the week because I feel I could really use that extra hour in waking life! 
 How do you manage that? I get about 5.5-6 during the week & 7 on the weekends, although last Friday I stayed up late & slept for 9 hours! I didn't get up in 11 on Saturday & felt like such a waste.
I usually hear that you should get the same on the weekend & during the week.
( I don't have kids, but I always have someplace I need to be, except some Sundays b/c I am a heathen who doesn't go to church.)
Not the other poster but I could easily sleep that much.
10pm-6am on weekdays
11pm/12am-8am/9am on weekends
Same here. This is pretty much my exact schedule that you listed.

Around 5 because I work and have to get up. 7-8 when I don't have work. It is not easy getting such little sleep! On a bad night, it can be 4 hours.

I kept thinking NO ONE prepared me for this!!! I also wondered if it was possible to just die from lack of sleep.
I now understand why sleep deprivation is used as a form or torture in the military! Hang in there momma!

I remember walking down the hallway to sleep for my shift ( Dh and I would take turns staying up with DD in the living room so the other could sleep for 4 hours at a time) and crying and saying " what did we do? How did we get ourselves into this? .this is NOT what I signed up for!"
It's been 5 years and I still remember that feeling SO clearly!

I get 6-7 on weekdays and 7-8 on the weekends. I keep saying I need to go to bed earlier during the week but it just doesn't work out.

Not enough :/ Lately my 5 year old DD has been waking up several times throughout the night. Last night was every hour, but she's sick so I understand that. But I'm tired?

About 9 hours- weekday or weekend. I'm also pregnant which has me exhausted constantly and in bed by 9 PM, waking up at 6 AM. I also toss and turn and lie awake in the middle of the night for at least an hour each night. So I guess about 8 then? And I've completely lost the ability to sleep in on the weekend. I used to be a champion sleeper!
