Kohls is open 24 hours now till Xmas eve

A bunch of my friends shopped at Kohls at like 5:30 - 6:00 am before they went to work. Another one of my friends couldn't sleep at went at about 4:00 am.

I have. Driving home 2 years ago from Boston DH and I stopped at Khols and did some last minute shopping.

I would think that yes, maybe people who work night shifts would go when they get off or before they go to work.
Not everyone works a 9-5 job.

It is sooooooo much nicer shopping in the middle of the night. No cars on the road, plenty of parking, minimal crowds in the stores. I would do ALL of my shopping in the middle of the night if I could.

I went to Kohls at 11pm a few weeks ago to return something and there was a line.
Was debating stopping in this morning before work.

My bigger issue wouldn't be the time -- it would be finding something to buy at Kohl's.  I KNOW that I am in the minority - my mother loves that store. My boyfriend - freaking loves that store.
I can't STAND IT. I think the quality is terrible of things I have received as gifts and things I have bought. Maybe I've just had bad luck but after a few attempts I'm not going to keep going back. NOT for me.
I had a gift card about a year ago there and I remember walking around aimlessly with my sister saying to her, I can't find one thing I would want to buy here!
I marvel at people like my mom who come home with shit that looks nice. Because when I made my attempts - well, the struggle was real.

I used to feel the EXACT same way. Never found a thing for me. But recently I have gotten a few really nice wrap dresses there. But I have to shop online. I feel like the stores are always a disorganized mess.
I find nice things while browsing online

I do most of my toy shopping there. I hate shopping at Tru more than anything and target doesn't have a great selection plus there website is horrendous. I've done really well at kohl's with toys and even big baby gear like my double stroller and car seats. They don't let you use the coupons in baby gear anymore (I can't tell you how awesome I did on my britax double with 30%off) but between sales, kohl's cash, and ebates you can still do great.

as much as i do dislike Kohl's, i ran in yesterday and actually got a few things. i was shocked.
i was also shocked that the lines, as long as they were, moved quickly.
i'm going to double-check, but i believe we're finished with our shopping... except for the wine i'm responsible to bring to xmas eve dinner.
as far as being open all night... people must be going or else they wouldn't do it.

I'm not a kohls fan either. I've actually given away kohls gift cards to
My friends. The only thing I liked was the Lauren Conrad jewelry line but now I barely wear anything since I work w kids and am running around all day

You are not alone. I have gone three times and every single time I have left empty handed. The quality is less than what I would want to spend my money on and I never see anything I like.

I love the IDEA of shopping in the middle of the night...but in this day and age... I wouldn't do it without my DH with me. Which is a sad reality. I think I can appreciate a really early opening more though for shopping before work.

For the most part I agree. I bought all my presents this year from there online. I was happy with pj's I bought there, but everything else is not for me. My dh gets great deals from there.
