PSA - With the purse snatchings going on
I just saw in the other thread about a lot of purse snatchings going on of elderly women.
The fact is it CAN happen to you.
1. Be vigilant - DONT EVER be "buried" in your cell phone. At the mall, at the store at ANYWHERE.
2. At the grocery store - I cant urge this enough - Seat belt your purse in. Its that ONE moment you are not looking that they are looking for the opportunity. They are looking for a quick getaway. There is no quick getaway when they topple the cart thinking they are getting your bag.
3. At the parking lot of any store - LOOK AROUND. Does anyone seem "weird" or suspicious? Look in the car. Look below the car real quick (as you approach). Then, PAY ATTENTION as you load the car. At the grocery store women tend to leave their bags in the cart, turn their back and load the car with grocerys. DONT DO THAT. Purse in first, or better yet, stay on your shoulder.
4. Kids. Load the kids last. If your purse is stolen, or they want your car, the kids are not until the end.
Just be vigilant and alert. NEVER EVER EVER be buried in your phone and just keep an eye out in general.

Yes to all and never risk your life for your purse. Let them have it. There is nothing in there you can not replace. You can not replace your life.
