Does anyone know of a good buffet place in Queens/LI?
My wife loves to eat, and therefore she loves buffets, but the ones we've gone to in Queens haven't been that GREAT. (usually just the chinese buffets) They are good, but not like the Las Vegas buffets, etc.
Earlier this year we had DD's first birthday party at this brunch buffet place in the city, they had an amazing selection: CREPE STATION - Bananas, Cherries, Suzette, Chocolate Nutella, Blueberries ASSORTED OMELETTES - Ham, Bacon, Tomatoes, Roasted Peppers, Mushrooms, Tofu, Onions, Chives, Asparagus, Smoked Salmon, Mozzarella Cheese, Cheddar Cheese, Chorizo SEAFOOD - Ceviche, Smoked Salmon, Seafood Paella, Jumbo Poached Shrimp, Bagels SERVED HOT - Pasta Primavera with Basil Pesto, Crispy Bacon, Breakfast Sausages, Home Fries, Whipped Yukon Gold Potatoes, Eggs Benedict, Truffle Polenta CARVED TO ORDER - Roast Beef, Fresh Ham, Roasted Turkey SALADS - Grilled Chicken with Napa Cabbage Penne with Cherry Tomatoes, Pine Nuts Chilled Asparagus Vinaigrette Crunchy Haricots Verts Vinaigrette Vine-Ripened Tomatoes & Fresh Mozzarella BREAKFAST SWEETS - Assorted Muffins, Miniature Danish, Chef Selection of Croissants, Donuts, French Toast, Pancakes, Berry & Granola Parfait DESSERT SELECTIONS - Banana Cream Pie, Peanut Butter Pie, Apple Tart, Cupcakes, Éclairs, Lemon Tartlets, Peanut Butter Brownies, Chocolate Mousse, Bread Pudding, Petits Fours, Linzer Torte, Brownie Trifle, Cheesecake, Crème Caramel, Carrot Cake, Cookies, Cannoli, Pecan Pies, Fruit Tartlets
I think it would be nice to bring my wife to another buffet, but not sure where to go.
We live in midtown, but DD is 18 months and I think it would be nice if we can have my mom watch DD while we go eat. My parents live in Bayside, so hopefully there is a nice buffet place in Queens or Long Island.
Any recommendations?
Thanks!
