homemade treats to give for the holidays?
I got DC's teachers gift cards but wanted to make some sweet treats to go along with. Any ideas? Was going to do cookies but now not sure.

I'm a teacher, just stick with the gift cards. Honestly, that's enough and very much appreciated.
The thought is nice but the overwhelming number of teachers I know do not/will not eat home made treats.
It's nice of you to send in anything.

I think most people prefer store bought to hone made. I don’t eat home made stuff from people I don't know very well

I love the ideas of chocolate, maybe bag up a few wrapped treats and give that. I once got a gift card that was placed in a clear bag with a variety of christmas candies inside of it. That was yummy. I also probably wouldn't eat something homemade unless I knew the parent very well.

I give GC's to my kids teachers but to the specials -gym, library etc etc and some of the administration I made some cute "sleighs"...basically I downloaded a cute sleigh on cardstock, hot glued it onto two candy canes, filled the sieighs with holiday chocolates and wrapped with cello and a bow - voila..cute and edible without any risk of food poisoning

Re: homemade treats to give for the holidays?
Super easy: White chocolate coconut blondies.
1 box french vanilla cake mix 1 egg 1 stick of butter, melted 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips 1 cup sweetened coconut flakes
Combine egg and melted butter with cake mix. Stir in white chocolate chips and coconut flakes. Press dough into a 9x13 greased pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
I also use the same dough method and add craisins and white chocolate chips, pretzels and rolos, M&Ms and chopped peanuts, or anything else!
