tell me about flying out of Newark

is it worth it? we'd be coming from LI.

Tell if it's easily accessible, how far generally, do they have long term parking (I assume they do - have to check) and any tips!

I did it to fly to Belize. I wouldn't do it unless its super cheap or it was the only airport I could use to get to the destination. Its not bad or anything its just far if you live on LI.

I've always hated that airport....
more expensive, more hectic than JFK & LGA combined.
it's far from LI, but growing up it was close so its where I always flew out of.

I've flown out a Newark a handful of times for work because of flight times. it's annoying but not so so bad.
My flight is usually at 8am so I leave long beach around 5:15-5:30 and get there in an hour and a half or so, before rush hour traffic gets to bad.
no complaints, for me it has the usual airport pains.
I don't know about parking, I usually take a car service.

I did it to fly to Canada since it was the only Nic airport we could get a direct flight from.

It was fine. Terminal had limited food options which stunk because we had a 5 hour flight but overall it wasn't terrible.

We took a car service and flew out early in the morning and got home at night so traffic from LI was not an issue.
