I pay every credit card in full each month. When I get the bill, I set up online payment to be done a few days before the bill's due date.

This. I will sometimes pay it off due date since I have till 8pm on that day. I think I paid cc interest once this year because I accidentally paid the wron amount. Then I had to pay the full balance to avoid interest payments.
