What are your 18-24 month olds favorite toys/ what are they getting for Christmas?
My in laws have asked me to buy Christmas gifts for my DD's. I got DD1 a bouncy house for about 150 bucks- shes 4. . Im stumped as to what to get DD2- shes 20 months- esp since I wasn't really given a budget and she has a lot of DD1s old toys.. so I need some ideas!
What are your 18mos old/2 year olds favorite toys? What are they getting for Christmas?

Melissa & Doug latches toy, shopping cart/play food her kitchen, clothes, crayola mess free coloring supplies.

Melissa & Doug latches toy, shopping cart/play food her kitchen, clothes, crayola mess free coloring supplies.
Got the Melissa and Doug latches board and crayola color wonder stuff too.
Also aqua doodle, matchbox cars and airplanes, helicopter from little people, and a bunch of peppa pig stuff.

Thanks for the ideas ladies!! DD2 has most of these things- and the only thing she plays with is the kitchen I think I am going to get her some play food and a shopping cart!!! I probably am at fault bc I don't play with her ie coloring etc.. But my DD1 is pretty demanding and a lot more vocal.. poor DD 2 lol

My dd is 18 m and loves baby doll stuff. Stroller night chair bottles she can feed baby.

21 months and he is getting- vtech popper vacuum, vtech sports center, play cell phone, Duck tails the movie, pj's, a green bay packers jersey, books, and little people toys.

Well, my son is 27 months old so I'm trying to think back to when he was around 18 months and then up until now also...
The Sesame Street Preschool Learn Elmo - a big hit.
Melissa and Doug puzzles with magnets -- it is like a fishing rod with a magnet on the end and you have to "fish" the puzzle pieces out. He loved those. They have "fish" and "bug" with bug net catcher ones.
Any books that had music buttons on the side -- in particular, Eric Carl had several of his classic stories and B&N had those books reformatted for younger kids with sound bite and music bite buttons on the sides -- and as he would read, he would press the buttons and music and sounds would play. He loved those, still does!
Musical instruments - toy piano, toy drum set, etc.
V-Tech and Leap toys are usually a hit.
He loves sticker books.
Old School Blocks - PBK - I bought wooden, hand-painted blocks with letters and animals on them. Loved that.
Anything animal related - V-Tech has this mock zoo with animals, rides, and toys. That was a huge hit.
Lego makes stuff for 2 year olds - he loves those. The pieces are larger and easier to put together. Geared more for that age.

My daughter loves her baby and stroller and blocks
We are getting her the pop up tent with a tunnel attached, Legos, a teddy bear, and maybe one more thing. I can't remember.

Thanks! Wasn't sure what to get my ds and looked at the latches toy. That is totally him! He loves to open things.
