Missing Birth Certificate - Ques
We called the town to inquire and we were told that it was mailed out beginning of November.
We never got it, so it’s either lost or stolen.
If it’s stolen, do I need to worry about identity theft? Can you do anything with just a birth certificate?

Not really. It's the SS card you have to worry about. Just order a new one. It's probably lost in the mail.

Not sure what town you're in, but TOH said we had to bring in a notarized letter stating that we never received it. They wouldn't just issue us a new one for DS2. Anyhow, we received it 2 weeks later after it was supposedly mailed.
