Great Wolf Lodge-PA
For those that have been there
1) is december an okay time to go? 2) are two days enough? 3) I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old are they too young to enjoy GWL? 4) anything to do for adults (like a bar)? 5) I see a deal for $199 per night, is that a good price for GWL?
Thanks!

I just came back from there today. It was a ghost town there today... Sun and mon had a decent amt of people. I'd try to avoid weekends if possible. 2 days is def enough. You can use waterpark at 1pm on day of checkin. And you can use all day long on checkout day. So we paid for 2 nights and essentially got 3 days in. My dd is 3.5. She def has enough areas to play in in waterpark. There are a lot of older kids running around playing magi quest which was kind of annoying. Arcade was a rip off. I would avoid at all costs. Nothing really for adults. No nightlife. It's really all for the kids. $200 per night is good. Normally price is like $350 I believe. Just be aware the tax ends up being a lot bc they add in an extra $20 a night for "wolf ears, wifi" etc
All in all... Was it worth the pricetag? Absolutely not. They nickel and dime you the whole way. They make it so that you have to buy your kids a kids package otherwise everything else separately is $$$$. I don't plan on returning anytime soon if ever... My daughter had a good time and we have some nice memories but I personally don't get the appeal.

There is a bar...but what would you do with your kids while at the bar? LOL (I should add that many people just let their kids run around unsupervised while they are at the bar...see it every trip!)
My kids LOVE GWL. They love the waterpark, the Magiquest, the mini golf, bowling, etc. I think your 5 year old would love it. The two year old would enjoy the kiddie area.

That is a good price and yes 2 days is enough. My kids liked it very much, but we haven't made it back there since.
