Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I usually order somewhat holiday neutral cards to send out but I like the Christmas card designs a little better this year. Most of the recipients celebrate Christmas, some also Hanukkah. We may be sending to new neighbors and friends this year that I not 100% sure what they celebrate. Should I also get some holiday neutral cards for them? Would you be offended to receive a card that has words or symbols of a holiday you don't celebrate?
It's only because of the receive Starbucks and mall Santa debate that now I'm really questioning myself.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
We celebrate Christmas and the majority of our friends and family do, too. I prefer to send our "Merry Christmas" cards but usually order a handful (maybe five or six) that are "Happy Holidays."
ETA At the end of the day, it's really your decision and I think people are just happy to receive a card in the mail and NOT a bill or solicitation.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
Ideally, If you did not know me, I was a new neighbor and you sent a Christmas card I prob would think it was a nice gesture and how sweet you thought of me. If you know I am jewish and send me a Christmas based card, meaning one that says Merry Christmas I would be offended. The reason, because I would send you a holiday appropriate card. That being said two thoughts. I always send neutral cards to most everyone or if I dont know what they celcbrate, sometimes hanukkah themed to my jewish friends etc.
oops, lost track of my second thought, i'll have to come back lol
In the end I would be happy just to receive any card, just the fact someone thought enough to send me one.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I am Jewish. Even thought I get "happy holidays" cards they are red and green and Christmassy. Frankly I personally would never be insulted if someone sent me a merry Christmas card, however it's nice when someone recognizes I don't célèbre at that holiday. So personally I say do what you want. However if you were to send families yoy don't celebrate Xmas a "neutral" card it would be nice.
Ultimate I don't see theM being insulted if that a You do. But if you go Out of your way it would be nice.

No I would not be offended to receive a holiday card of a holiday I did not celebrate. I usually hand write, Happy Hanukkah on the cards of families I know also celebrate Hanukkah.

I always order Merry Christmas cards. Celebrating the holiday is the whole reason I am sending the cards. I hand write "Happy Chanukah" on the cards I send to those who celebrate that holiday also.

I always get happy holidays or season greetings. Many of our friends do not celebrate Christmas.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
Are these custom photo cards? If so, I'd pick the design you like best. I don't think anyone expects someone who celebrates Christmas to pay for 2 separately designed card orders.
If you're buying packs of cards at a store that's different and I would get 2 sets.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
This year they happen to say happy holidays. I usually pick based on the design, not necessarily what they say.
If I ever heard someone I sent a card to had an issue with it saying merry Christmas though, not only would I cross them off my list but I would also reevaluate my friendship with them.

I agree with this...I would never be offended if I received a Happy Hanukkah/Happy Kwaanza/etc. card. That seems absurd. It's a friend/neighbor thinking of you and wishing you well for the holiday season.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I do a set of Christmas cards and then look for Happy Holidays that are more winter-themed or neutral which I send to my Jewish friends. I try to avoid cards that say Happy Holidays but are too Christmas-y.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I always send out a religious Christmas card. That is what I celebrate and the card is from me.
For those I am sending the card to who are of the Jewish faith, I make sure to write Happy Hanukkah.
I don't have anyone on my Christmas card list who I am unsure of what they celebrate.
I also make sure I always address it to each person in the family and mention to have a healthy and happy new year.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I would be fine with receiving Merry Christmas Cards. I send out happy hanukkah cards. I don't expect a personalized card just for me because I celebrate hanukkah. go with what ever design you prefer.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I celebrate Christmas, I send out Christmas cards regardless of who celebrates what holiday. I would never even think to get offended if I received a Hanukkah card (as example) from someone else.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
We are Catholic, so our cards say Merry Christmas.
Some go to people of other faith. I would hope it doesn't offend anyone we send them to.

I get two different sets of cards. One Merry Christmas and one Happy Holidays. The Happy Holidays are pretty neutral. I did snowflakes the last 2 years.

Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
I get plenty of Christmas cards even though I don't celebrate in a religious aspect. It would never occur to me to get offended and I would never expect someone to order separate cards.

Re: Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays cards?
Majority say Merry Christmas, I order individual cards (around 10 or so) saying Happy Holidays.
I would find it odd if someone sent me a Happy Chanukah card. Not so much a Happy Holidays card.
