state farm insurance
Does anyone use state farm insurance and have a agent/office that is competent that they would recommend???
We signed up with them last year (they offered us the best pricing/policy after looking at multiple other insurance agencies for home owners and car). The guy that we worked with was a moron but we really didnt need to deal with him often. Fast forward to now, we are adding a car to our policy, we find out he is no longer there (yay!), we get assigned to someone new...screws things up with the dealership. We speak to an office manager, she fixes it. Car gets added to the policy, and we just saw they charged us twice. We are happy with the coverage, just not the agent/location we are working with.

Call office and ask to speak to agent. Im sure he/she will do what they can.
If you are unhappy, you can try to switch offices. They are independently owned so only that office can see your policies.

I use Bill D'Acosta in Massapequa. He's always been very helpful and pleasant. I don't care for the woman that works in his office, in fact I find her abrasive and rude, so ask to speak directly to him.

I like Jake from State Farm. No, really. he is in the Shirley office. That office is pretty good from all my experience.
DW & her whole big family left Massapequa office due to them being ... not so nice after a change of hands 20 years into the policies. at least. multiple types of policies. I think it had to do with the woman as well?

I use the nesconset office. They are amazing! My parents have had them for 30+ years and I've had them for over 15 years. Nothing but good to say about all of them. Betty has been there a long time and is excellent!
