Cleaning Lady -- question...

My former cleaning lady can no longer travel to my home. She did an awesome job. I hired a new lady who is charging me the same price but does a much less thorough job. I'm not sure if it is because she is inexpensive or not.... as the lady I had previously was my first cleaning lady and she charged the same rate. Not sure if I should be looking for someone new or just doing the things this woman isnt because im getting a great price.

She is only cleaning the first floor of my home -- 900 sq ft - 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, 2x per month.

Does anyone know what the going rate is for this?

OK im paying $75 -- i thought this must be a "deal"
Does your lady basically spot clean? Thats what is seems im getting.
My old lady used to move furniture, wipe out the fridge, and left the floor sparkling clean.

Does your lady basically spot clean? Thats what is seems im getting.
My old lady used to move furniture, wipe out the fridge, and left the floor sparkling clean.

She takes up my two huge area rugs and mops the whole floor, she also vacs the area that is wall/wall carpet. She cleans 1.5 baths top to bottom. Moves couches, dusts, etc. wipes everything sparkling, and even cleans out my toaster oven until it shines!!

I'm not really sure what her "radius" is. But you could contact her and ask her.

I'm in the town of Smithtown.

I was referred to her from my SO who is in Miller Place.

So, I know she does those two areas!
