Was thinking of taking 3 yo dd there on Halloween for a couple hours before trick or treating, but is that enough time to enjoy the park and for her to get her fill of the rides? I've never been there before. I don't want to end up there all day and end up with her too tired to enjoy trick or treating.

A couple of hours is definitely enough time for her to get her fill of rides at that age. I will say that DS gets really tuckered out after going there though. He is usually passed out before we leave the parking lot.

I think a few hours would be fine. All depends on how busy it is I guess.
My 3 year old loved it when we went for her bday. We actually stayed a little too long for her and the last hour was rough.

I think it's fine. We usually spend at most half a day there, but 2 or 3 hours is good. They have BOGO POP, but I don't think it will be super busy since pumpkin park was last weekend.

I agree, but I also agree with a PP that I would worry she might be too tired to TOT.

I would only take her if you think she'll have the stamina.

I would also consider TOTing first although judging by the other thread people are going out later than I would have thought.

Thanks all! DH and I decided to skip it since we don't want her to be exhausted for trick or treating. I'd rather go when we can take our time and really enjoy it.

Just FYI, I think after Sunday they will be closing for the winter. So, may want to go Sunday if you are thinking about going. For us, Adventureland isn't really tiring. All the rides for my DD are in the same general area (close together). She sometimes wants to ride her favorite 3 or 4 times in a row - the ride with all the different vehicles. So we just go from the exit to the entrance and she picks a different vehicle each time.
But, my DD doesn't nap anymore so I don't have to worry about her missing a nap, lol.

Also wanted to add - if you only have a little one, it's better to park near the entrance closer to route 110, if you can get a spot there. The only ride we sometimes go on at the other end of the park is the antique cars.

Thanks for the tips! My dd does still nap, so I think going on Halloween would be too much for her, but we may try on Sunday if we have time.

Adventureland

This weekend is BOGO free on the POP bracelets since it's the last weekend before they close.
