I vote for Option B. Driving 1 hour round trip for a 1.5 hour party is annoying IMO.

Option A - Alot of people are away after the holidays. I used to have my sons party Thanksgiving weekend and had a lot of declines. It was a real bummer for him. So now I have it 2 weeks before.

I'd only do option B if you could get the 27. The day after Christmas is not a good day. If you host, you're likely exhausted from the cooking, cleaning, and prepping and the last thing you want to do is a birthday party. Also, some people celebrate Christmas on the 26th with other family members/in-laws that they didn't get to see on the actual holiday. As for option A, definitely not. An early morning birthday party on a weekend that requires a decent amount of travel time is a no-go in my book.
