Pumpkin Picking - I know it's been asked lol

We were planning on taking my 19m old and 6 week old pumpkin picking today but I think Harbes is going to be mobbed.

What's a good place for pumpkin picking (like in a field, not a bunch of pumpkins that were picked and just laying on the grass) but also has something fun for the 19m old to play on. Possibly animals. Looking for out near Riverhead.

Thanks!

Brightwater Farms in Bayshore. We brought DS there last weekend and it wasn't packed. They have hayrides, a little playground area, and kid games. Some farm animals. The only thing I didn't like is they charged you $10 a person to go in, but the hayrides and all activities there were included. It was a nice day.

ETA: I was more than happy to pay the $10 a person to not have a placed that was mobbed with people..

We went to Hanks yesterday and we had a great time. DH and DD were picking the pumpkins right off the vine, which was cool. No matter where you go on the weekend it will be packed, unless you go during the week. DD had a ball, there were climbing structures for the kids and we did apple picking.

We've gone here the past 2 years and will go again this year. Very cute and so nice to not have to go all the way out east.

It was really nice! Not too big but plenty to do for a toddler and minimal lines and crowds!

We took our 16 month old to Fink's in Wading River. Pumpkins on the vine, corn maze, bounce house, a lot of animals, face painting, etc.
