Birthday Gift Idea - 100!
My grandfather will be 100 years old this December. My parents are going to throw a little party at a hall and doing a brunch.
Any ideas to get a 100 yr old man?
Not that I can imagine there's anything particular he wants. He's just happy to be with family.
He's from the Bronx so I'd love to do something with it's history or pictures. Problem is he doesn't see so well. He sees ok, but not sure if he can see anything small.

Birthday Gift Idea - 100!
A few years ago we did a combined 80th & 85th BDay party for my grandparents. I did a slideshow of photos of their life, from the earliest pictures we had of them to the current day, set to music. I showed it at the party and it was a big hit with everyone.

Birthday Gift Idea - 100!
One more idea. For my grandmother one year we did placemats with pictures (old and new). She loved looking at them everyday.

how awesome to be turning 100!!
my grandfather passed away in his 90s and my grandmother is 90. i hope i have her long enough to celebrate 100.
i don't have any ideas for gifts, just wanted to wish him the most amazing birthday

Happy birthday to him. We are celebrating my grandma's 95th birthday this weekend. We got her a day of beauty at Elizabeth arden. The other idea was a donation in her honor to the Holocaust museum in Glen cove.

Birthday Gift Idea - 100!
Another idea-different newspapers will provide a hardcover book with a copy of the newspaper from the day they were born. My sister did it for her in-laws 50th anniversary and I got one for my dad's 65th.

Thanks all for the great ideas and wishes for him. He's amazing! I like the photo ideas or doing a slideshow during the party.
The charity idea is great as well.

For my grandfathers 90th we did a slideshow during the party. For a gift, we put together a basket of his favorite snacks - anisette cookies from the bakery, chocolates, cashews, caponata, crackers, etc.

My grandmother just turned 99 and we did a photo book with pics as far back as we could find up until the present. She loved it. She said she looks at it every day

How about a photo blanket! I made one for my grandma and she loved it! You could do a mix of old photos and new or something like that.
