Moving day essentials - what should I get?
DH and I are closing on our house next Monday. We won't be moving in immediately as we have a few minor construction projects (walls being removed and banisters being replaced on stairs) and the floors being re-finished prior to move in. It'll be about 2 weeks before we're actually living there. But we will be in and out everyday over those 2 weeks since DH and his dad are doing most of the work themselves. The kitchen and bathrooms will all be useable.
What types of things or essentials do we need to have when we're in there working and simultaneously moving in?
While DH and his dad are working on the walls, I planned on cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, maybe painting, and definitely putting the kitchen together.

What dr. Meg said plus I would also get a coffee maker, coffee (if you guys are big coffee drinkers) ice trays for the fridge, body soap, towels, etc.

What everyone said and a shower curtain if you need one. We had to run to Walmart at night once when we realized that the shower didn't have a curtain lol.

And if you have a window inside your shower, make sure there is a curtain for that too
