Best way to get to Brooklyn Heights?

I've been given the opportunity to job shadow someone in a field I have been dying to get into. It's in Brooklyn Heights. I live on the south shore of Suffolk County. Should I drive or take the train?

Also, is this something I should wear a business suit to or do you think regular work clothes are ok (I'm a former teacher so I have plenty of dresses, dress pants and blouses, etc.)?

definitely DO NOT drive. forget the commute...you won't find parking. take the LIRR to Atlantic Avenue. Where exactly in BH is it? I can help with subways.

I would wear work clothes, not a suit. especially in this heat.

i used to work in Metrotech. its right by there. take the LIRR to Atlantic Ave. then once you get off and go into the subway area that train right in front of you is the 2 or the 3. take that to Borough Hall. it lets you out on the corner of Remsen and Court St.

Ditto LIRR. I used to work in Brooklyn (from south shore nassau) and it's the only way to go.
