Is anyone else's office like a meat locker?

I am cold all the way down to my bones. I can't wear open toe shoes because its always freezing in here. I am wearing long sleeves and fingerless gloves!

I have a portable heater but then I have to listen to the "always hot" coworker complain that he's dying in here.

Yep. Freezing. I run the space heater all the time.
I have my own office so I don't have to worry about anyone else complaining they are hot.

It's insane- I always say that if it was this cold in here in the winter, the heat would kick on.

Why is it ok to be this freezing in the summer?

Especially since we are wearing less clothing in summer. It makes no sense

Yes! I recently ordered a heater because I was tired of not being able to wear summer clothes and shoes. One of the best things I ever bought! Is there some way you can place the heater so that it is directed only to you? I HATe being cold - it was making me miserable every day

Its a small heater and I do direct it at me, but after a few hours it warms the room up and PIA starts complaining.

I never get to put my winter clothes away, it stinks. Makes for a long day.

Yup. But because I am one of those people who crank the AC 24/7/365. I can't help it...I run hot!! And I justify it by saying "I can only take off so many layers...you can put more on!" I know I'm the most hated person in my office, but I really am TRYING to be better about it!

I wish!!! It is so uncomfortably warm in my office. Me moreso than others because I'm pregnant but no one here is cold. At all. I wish I had a portable ac on my desk instead of a fan. It's been brutal this summer. I'd kill for it to be even 68-70 in here. It's just stagnant air. No windows.

It's always freezing in our office, summer and winter. We aren't allowed to have space heaters, so I keep a blanket at my desk that I wrap myself up in and have the fingerless gloves in my draw, I'm always freezing when I'm at work

no, my office is so warm and stuffy, when its humid out I can feel it inside.

I have fuzzy slippers under my desk.

I have scarves at work.

I wear jackets at my desk.

It's horrible lol

Yes. Another portable heater user here. Luckily my officemate loves the heater!

My train is also freezing so my neighbors who see me commuting think im insane because i walk with a jacket in 85 degrees!!!

Yes! But it is freezing in here winter, spring , summer & fall! But summer is bad since clothes are lighter. i always say it's a constant 61 degrees here! I always have my heater going, and either a shawl or jacket on. All the women here have shawls at their desks. It's ridiculous.

Yup, I have the portable heater under my desk and I keep a sweater here for when the heater isn't enough.

I don't work in a traditional office but my place is always too warm. I'm constantly running around and I sweat like a pig.

You should see the outrageous sweater/blanket I have on right now. I have a dress with no sleeves on but you need it! It's so damn hot out and the subway platforms are unbearable. I really thought I might faint this morning.
