Knee surgery question...
Has anyone here had full knee replacement surgery or has their parents had it? My poor Dad is going in Oct 5 to have his right knee done and I am just wondering what his recovery time will look like. Not to be 100% but at least up and driving and fairly mobile again. I took 10 days after his surgery off to drive to therapy and help him around the house since my Mom has mobility issues. The big issue I am due with DS the first or second week of November and am worried about leaving Dad stranded while I recover from a c-section...TIA

Mother.
About a month or so for one knee.
Clients that range to two months for double.
Is this LI? I've noticed some of the rehab places will pick up and bring back home.

Knee surgery question...
My Aunt had hers at LIJ and requested to recover at their nursing/rehad facility right on site. She was there about 10-14 days receiving PT and then had a great recovery afterwards- still had to go to therapy- but they were able to send ppl to house at the beginning until she was comfortable enough to go to the facility.

Knee surgery question...
My mom had one of hers done at the end of June. She did not go to a rehab facility. PT came to the house for a few weeks, and now she goes to the facility. She's doing really well. Still going to PT, has days where she's more sore than others, but she's been doing well with her recovery, can drive, go to the supermarket, etc.
