Upstate in the fall?
Hi, I am looking for recommendations for a long weekend in the fall, somewhere "upstate", probably in the Catskill area. My kids are 7 and 5, and I'm looking for fun, family, seasonal things to do. I'm not sure where to start the search. Any ideas? TIA

New Paltz, Saratoga (we go yearly), depends on how far you are willing to drive. A little farther west/north you've got Cooperstown, which has the baseball hall of fame and the caverns (so fun). You can practically pick a town and find interesting and fun things to do in the fall! I would just watch the school schedules for college family weekends (hotels book fast).

I don't know if you're looking for a resort, but Villa Roma, Rocking Horse Ranch and Pinebrook Ranch are all in the Catskills.
