everything on the internet that involves "public interaction" can easily fall into the exhausting category. roll with it.
i stay away from the drama threads and sometimes from all of social sites if it's getting to be too much.

Sometimes, but I try not to take it too seriously. It's good entertainment at times  .
What I find most interesting is the debate is different here. I'm on another message board and the views are way different from here. Where I'm living there is almost no debate, but more of an understanding of some of the thinking that goes on here.
In any case, I find the views interesting and different.

I agree. Some people are predictable. I find that LIF has calmed down a bit and that many Facebook groups are much worse.

I agree. Some people are predictable. I find that LIF has calmed down a bit and that many Facebook groups are much worse.
A few years ago I think there were so many more posters...
I got lucky I'm not in too many bad fb groups

I feel like its calmed down too.
I also stop reading threads after awhile because they turn into nonsense.
I also think there are waaaaaaay worse boards out there.
Holy hell, Reddit for one!
I feel like people are so sensitive on there and they have the downvoting feature to boot. I just got called "patronizing" on a thread there because I told someone that is planning a team building day outside of working hours, that games and ice breaker activities may not go over well because a lot of people will think they are cheesy. Got downvoted for suggesting food and drinks!!

I find most of them turn ugly at some point or go so far off topic. I find many people on this site to be argumentative and stir the pot over just about every topic

Nah. I don't care enough about it to exhaust me. My 2 year old and 3 week old are what exhaust me.
I dont get involved in the drama threads and I actually don't read the ones that have 1,000 views and I know will just be back and forth.

Yep, sometimes it is exhausting. I don't really get involved with the drama. I'll just give the occasional "ITA" to someone...The back and forth between posters drives me crazy. Like, you guys CLEARLY aren't going to agree, so stop trying to change the other person's mind and call it a day.
