Shower gift amount...
Question...I am usually an over spender for birthdays and holidays etc.. DH and I are trying to be more concious of our spending. I am going to a bridal shower this weekend and my DH is the best man for the couple but I am not very close with the girl. What would be a good amount to spend..some people say $50 some say $100. Not sure what is right. Thoughts?

Because your DH is the best man I'd spend the higher amount- even though you aren't close with the girl. The gift is really for both of them and considering your DH is the best man, I assume he is very close with the groom.
I'd go $100

Agreed only because he is the best man. $75 could be acceptable depending on if he is spending a lot for a bachelor party and what you spend on wedding gift.

Thank you ladies...he is spending a lot on the bachelor party. They are going away for 4 days. The wedding gift I haven't even thought about yet lol..
