"Alive after 5" street fair in patchogue
Has anyone been to this? How is the parking situation? We've never been to it before and aren't familiar with that area at all. Any tips on where to park so we don't have to walk super far with our 2 year old?

I personally would not take a 2yo because it's so crowded and lots of drunk people. Parking is generally poor in Patchogue, the lots will likely be full all day and the metered spits on main will be closed. Get there early and find a side street but make sure it will still be open when you leave.

Its more of an adult street fair

Don't bring a 2 year old though, its basically a Bar Happy Hour in the street.

We've gone for years and I don't feel like I've ever had issues with drunk people. We stay more towards the east side of Main Street (away from where Brickhouse is) because it gets really crowded down there. We usually eat some street food, my kids get ice cream, and we walk around and look at some of the vendors. We go early and leave early, since my kids go to bed early.
And I like to park behind the library...be warned, there is also a show at Patchogue Theater tonight so parking will be a total nightmare from that as well.

I've gone pregnant and with a one and two year old never had a problem with drunks
Go as early as you can .. Try the lots first if your there really early and side street it (look to make sure no no parking sign restrictions )
Enjoy! It's going to be a great day for it I'm taking my 3 year old while 8 months pregnant tonight lol
