DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
What would you do? DD's party is tomorrow. I was planing to have the majority of it in the backyard- bubbles, glitter tattoos, art project etc and then just cake in the house.
I now see that there is 60% chnace of rain.
I could probably do the majority of this stuff inside in my family room and the parenst could stay in my living room area. There is not enough room for everyone in the family room. Would you do this or try to reschedule?

Re: DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
Did you consider the idea of renting a tent or tents?
I did this for my son's birthday party which I had in the yard -- and they had called for rain, last minute, so I rented tents. It was worth the $300 for peace of mind and to be able to still have the party.
Murphy's Law - it did not rain that day but the tents ended up being a Godsend because they provided shade from the strong sun.

Did the same thing for my dd's baptism.

Re: DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
I just watched the updated forecast and they said cloudy in the morning with chance of showers- clearing by 10 am.
It changes so much

Re: DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
We do have several pop ups we could put up and I have an over hanging deck that a large table is under but I just wasn't sure if the kids are really going to be able to run around etc. without getting soaked.
I am also hearing thunder storms and really don't think too many moms are going to be comfortable with their kids playing in thunderstorms. :) Thank you for the suggestions!

Re: DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
I am hoping this will happen. As long as it's fairly clear I'm having it outside!

Re: DD's party tomorrow/ rain?
I would just have it.
We have never cancelled parties because of rain, and we have a small house; we just make do. You never know what the weather will do, and it could end up raining on the rain-date too!
